Candle Products

What are your candles made of?

Our candles are made of a 100% natural soy wax and botanical oil blend. We chose soy wax for its burning properties and eco-friendliness. The soybeans used to create our wax is grown and processed in the United States, and while not certified as "organic", are certified to contain no pesticides or added chemicals.

What are your wicks made from?

The wicks in our candles are 100% braided cotton. We do not used cored wicks, or wicks containing metals of any kind. The only metal included in our wick assembly is the aluminum support tab which is fastened securely to the bottom of each of our container candles.

How long do your candles burn?

While we do provide a general guide to burning times for our candle products, your individual results may vary. On the average, our soy wax candles have exhibited the following average burn times:

  • 4oz. Containers: 30 hours
  • 8oz. Containers: 60 hours
  • 12oz. Containers: 90 hours
  • Votives: 20 hours
  • Tealights: 4 hours

Bath & Body Products

Are your Bath & Body products all-natural?

Our Bath & Body bases are made from a combination of natural and synthetic ingredients, depending on the specific product. Ingredients for each product are listed on the product pages, please refer to them in your search for skin-sensitivity issues. Our bases were designed to be as mild as possible for the widest range of skin types. Most synthetic ingredients are found in the preservation system of our Bath & Body line.

Why do you use synthetic preservatives?

As of this writing, there is NO natural preservative system capable of the wide-spectrum preservation required for water-based products. While we are committed to being as "green" as possible, we can only guarantee that our products are safe for your use by using established preservation systems. We will, however, continue to explore natural alternatives wherever possible.
